New thoughts on old ways

I have been looking in to the Eastern Orthodox Church lately and I have fallen more and more in love with it. Be it the writings of St. John of Damascus, learning of the icons, the Theotokos, how Mary became pure, the great writings of St. chrysostom or what have you. I have seen a great deal of the Eastern Church in Anglo- Catholics practice and as one priest told me "we are the western branch of the orthodox church" because much of our beliefs and views are the same. I have a even higher approach to Anglo-Catholicism now, basically I see things as the eastern orthodox church dose with some western thought here and there ( That may need to die we will see [laughs]). There will be more blogs to come on this progress and new thought.

Glory to the Father, Son and Holy Spirit and may the Holy Mother pray for us. Let St. Michael and the host of angels guard us. Glorious St. Patrick pray for us along with the host of Saints.
